1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files written to your browser. Local storage does the same job but stays inside the site itself. Both remember preferences, keep sessions alive and, only when you allow it, measure how the site is used. General rules on data handling live in the Privacy Policy.
2. Always on (needed for the site to work)
- lookadev_cookie_consent (local storage): remembers whether you accepted everything or essentials only, so the notice does not reappear.
- lookadev-lang (cookie): remembers the right language and market for the page.
- lookadev_payer_session (cookie): keeps access for people who bought gated content.
- lookadev_admin_session (cookie): administrative session, limited to the LookADev team.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: bot check on contact and lead forms.
3. Measurement and third-party scripts (opt-in)
None of the scripts below loads before you accept in the cookie notice. If you choose essentials only, they stay blocked:
- Google Analytics 4: aggregated visit statistics with anonymized IP.
- Microsoft Clarity: interface recordings used to improve the site.
- Meta Pixel: only when configured, to measure campaigns.
You can change your mind at any time: the footer has a Manage Cookies button that reopens the choice.
4. Where you leave our domain
- Dodo Payments: Diagnosis and subscription payments run on the provider checkout, under their own cookie rules.
- WhatsApp (wa.me): contact links open WhatsApp, under the WhatsApp cookie policy.
The rest of the site runs on lookadev.com itself, with no advertising cookies.
5. How to stay in control
- On the first-visit notice, choose accept everything or essentials only.
- Use the Manage Cookies button in the footer to reopen the choice whenever you want.
- Your browser settings can block or delete any cookie, essentials included (the site may then forget your preferences).
